Rotate, or stay for one task
Rotation is the default shape. A sticky session is a tool with a clock on it.
Rotation gives a new exit as the task moves. That is the right shape for a wide read of public pages, where no single address needs to be you for more than one request.
A sticky session keeps one exit for a bounded piece of work: a checkout flow on your own shop, a multi-step form you are testing, a page that falls over if the address changes mid-way. It is not an identity, and it should not be left open as a costume.
When the paid product is provisioned, the session length will be a setting on the proxy user, with an upper bound. The sample ticket on the home page does not open a session at all.
If you are unsure, rotate. Hold a session only for the task that breaks without it, then let it go.
